Wellington Boone
Sunday, July 27 • 9:00 am, 11:00 am & 6:00 pmAs a nationally recognized platform speaker for Promise Keepers and the author of several best selling popular Christian books, Wellington Boone's primary goal is to lead people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Wellington Boone was ordained into ministry in 1973, the same year that he married his childhood sweetheart, Katheryn, whom he met in Germany during his high school years. He incorporated Living Word Evangelistic Association in approximately 1983, and later changed the name to Wellington Boone Ministries with the encouragement of his leaders. His first church that is still in existence and under his covering is Manna Christian Fellowship of Richmond, Virginia which was incorporated in 1985. The Fellowship of International Churches was started in 1994 when the founding pastors conferred on Pastor Boone the title of Bishop.
Bishop Wellington Boone's goal is to please God by a lifestyle of holiness and humility, to teach and preach who God is through study and revelation from the Word of God, and to reproduce himself through planting churches and making disciples. He relates to pastors and leaders as a father to his children. In time, they come of age as leaders themselves and plant their own churches and establish ministries.
Claudio Freidzon
Monday, July 28 • 7:00 pmTuesday, July 29 • 10:00 am & 7:00 pm
Born in Buenos Aires in 1955, Claudio Freidzon met the Lord when he was very young. He had a personal encounter with God alone on the outskirts of Buenos Aires. There God gave him an extraordinary desire to express the love of Christ to all who surrounded him.
After his teenage years, God called him to prepare for full-time service. But Claudio had other plans: he had begun studying engineering in college and aspired to be a good Christian, but not a pastor. At a retreat, the Holy Spirit spoke to him so clearly that he decided to enter the seminary after making a firm decision to serve Him.
He graduated from seminary in 1977 and began his pastoral work together with his wife Betty in Buenos Aires. In 1986 he founded the King of Kings Church, which currently has over 20,000 members who attend the numerous meetings every week.
The ministry of Pastor Claudio Freidzon is characterized by powerful manifestations of the Holy Spirit through signs and miracles. In 1992, his personal search led him to have a powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit, which revolutionized his life and ministry. A glorious and fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit flooded meetings of the King of Kings Church. Thousands of people from all over the world have come to the church looking for a spiritual revival. The ministry went beyond the local level when Claudio began participating in major crusades and conferences on five continents, personally ministering to more than 2 million people.
